We talked on the phone. I thought she was Filipino. She told me she liked to bake cookies. I was scared LOL! :) I think I first really "met" Sara when we talked about Ani Difranco for the first time. It was later that year I asked her if she wanted to get married. She thought I was asking her, but I meant just in general...I think it was our Ani talk.
it was at the dorms at UCI. OTERO!! Instead of "freaking out" over the amount of *NSYNC and Pacey (Dawson's Creek, duh) posters plastered on my wall...she shared in my obsession of Ben Affleck. Yes, Ben Affleck! Once I saw that Ben Affleck poster, I knew then that we were going to get along... and lets not forget her awesome collection of CDS. Who would of thought she would know most if not all the lyrics to TLC's Oooooohhh...on the TLC TIP...word!
I stumbled into an apartment party at USC in 2001 with approximately 12 of my closest college buddies and my sister older sister Anna, who had heard of the event.
As I walked through the door, I saw a cute girl with curly brown hair. I asked her to dance and proceeded to tell her that I too was a sophomore (tiny fib) and a member of a fraternity (yes, seriously). Sara wrote her phone number on my arm and we managed to stay in touch over the years through the magic of AIM, numerous e-mail addresses, and various social media platforms.
kim - i can't wait to see your silk pant suit at our wedding. jo - i'm so embarrassed. hahaha. gina - that's ok, you remember me now :) mom - <3 vince - i don't remember any of that.
